Freezer friendly meals that are part of a gluten free meal plan?! YES! These gluten free recipes that are freezer friendly will make planning your meals quick and easy. We are sharing freezer friendly breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and even freezer friendly snacks and desserts!

Well, we are almond to March! WHOA! How did that happen? February is always a blink. I feel like I just posted the Healthy Swaps Meal Plan Challenge and now it’s on to another meal plan!

If it’s freezing where you, it might just make this month’s freezer friendly meals meal plan more useful. Ha ha, okay that was just my pun obsessed humor. Puns aside, creating a freezer friendly meal plan can be a lifesaver. Think of it as ULTRA MEAL PREP! Or rather, longer lasting meal prep. Right?

This gluten free meal plan is made of up of all my favorite healthy meals which can easily be prepped then stored in the freezer. All they need is a quick reheat, thawing, or bake before serving.

In the meantime, let’s walk through these freezer friendly meals. I’m sharing a few freezer meal storing tips for a few, so be sure to pay attention. Mmmm k?

Gluten-Free breakfast wraps are the perfect grab and go breakfast! Portable, freezer friendly, and filled with wholesome simple ingredients! This recipe will satisfy your hunger on a busy schedule.

From Freezer to Plate tip –   Thaw in fridge then Lightly bake in oven. Quick option – unwrap foil and place in microwave to defrost. The only wrap that does not reheat well is the parfait. Baking them in oven on low 300-325F will help the tortillas stay crispy and not soggy.

Most of of these meals should freezer for up to 3 months and can be reheated or defrosted easy, but please let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help!

Here’s a gluten free grocery list for your convenience.

GROCERY LIST:

  • Blueberries/ Oranges /bananas (ripe)
  • sweet potato and/or squash.
  • Parsley/basil/cilantro/fresh sage
  • Broccoli and/or broccolini
  • Red Thai Peppers and/or jalapeños
  • Cauliflower or cauliflower rice already prepared
  • Onion/shallot/garlic bulbs
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Carrot, Celery
  • Canned Tomatoes (for chili)
  • Lemon and Limes
  • Pumpkin Seeds/walnuts/almonds/cashews
  • Green Olives
  • Leafy Greens and micro greens or sprouts
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Ginger root or ground ginger
  • Arrowroot, potato starch, and/or tapioca flour
  • Rice flour
  • Organic Eggs
  • 1 lb. organic pork loin (stew or stir fry cut)
  • Organic Ground beef or turkey
  • Cooked Smoked Ham or leftover ham (chopped)
  • 2 cod fillets (4oz-5oz each) – or other white fish such as haddock or tilapia.
  • Vegetable and Chicken broth (gluten free). Or feel free to use Bone Broth
  • Canned Chickpeas (organic, BPA free)
  • Azuki beans
  • Cooked rice
  • Organic Greek Yogurt or Dairy Free yogurt (like plain coconut yogurt, etc.)
  • Nutritional Yeast (or parmesan for those who can tolerate dairy)
  • Almond butter (natural) and peanut butter (smooth)
  • Dark Chocolate for melting and/or dairy free chocolate chips (enjoy life works great).
  • Gluten Free Tamari or Coconut aminos
  • Gluten Free tortillas (large)
STAPLES PANTRY ITEMS WILL NEED FOR THIS MEAL PLAN AND MORE!
  • Chia seed
  • Honey or maple syrup (you can use xylitol syrup if you are wanting no sugar)
  • Coconut sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Coconut milk/cream or Almond Milk
  • Olive Oil/Coconut Oil (cold pressed)
  • Balsamic Vinegar and Rice Vinegar
  • Sesame seed and Sesame oil
  • Spices/dried herbs
  • Sea salt/Pepper
  • Coconut Flour/Almond Meal / baking starch (like tapioca)
  •  Gluten Free Oats
  • Gluten Free Granola
