I fell into gluten-free and allergy-friendly eating as a result of managing my own health conditions and in doing so began to help others do the same, growing a community in the process. I know, firsthand, that the world of allergy-friendly eating can be daunting and a bit overwhelming, especially without a support system. And this knowledge has been solidified after receiving countless emails from moms, parents, and individuals who are simply looking for ways to feed themselves and their families without making multiple meals every night or breaking the bank with expensive, “allergy-friendly” foods. And let’s not even get into how some of those allergy-friendly storebought products are made with not-so-great ingredients and are often seriously lacking in flavor. I mean, who hasn’t broken down and splurged on a $15 jar of some dairy-free cheese sauce or dip only to throw it out after one bite? Been there. Done that.
The overwhelm and lack of simplicity (and enjoyment) around the dinner table ate at my soul (ha, pun not intended). So, I decided to change that and sat down over the past year to create a go-to resource that makes allergy-friendly meals not only delicious but also simple, approachable, and fun.
That said, I’m excited to announce the launch of my second cookbook, The Gluten-Free Family Friendly Cookbook!
