Holiday kitchen essentials that will make the entertaining process a breeze! Yes, now is the perfect time to upgrade your kitchen for the holidays! Since the holiday countdown has officially begun , I thought I’d share my favorite 5 holiday kitchen essentials from KitchenAid. Why? Can you hear it? The holiday sound, the holiday smell? Oh gosh. It’s here, it’s here! To me, it’s a calming chaos. Yes, that sounds like an oxymoron. And maybe it is. But it’s also all about perspective and focusing on the HOLIDAY ESSENTIALS to survive, I mean THRIVE, through the Holidays.

The sound of pots and pans cooking up a feast. The smell of a roast or hot (gluten free) biscuits in the oven. The sound of laughter (and a bit of dry humor) echoing throughout the house. The smell of pies in the oven. The sound of my mixer whipping up my favorite coconut frosting. Mind you, while this is happening, there is a sound of my nieces repeatedly asking me “what are you making? I want to try! What’s in it? Can I have some? What are you doing Aunt Whittle?.” Yes, they call me Aunt Whittle. Whittle Windsay (Lindsay) is a family name. But I digress….

Let’s face it. If you don’t have good quality pans, then things can get sticky! Pun intended. Really though, stainless steel pans can improve your cooking and your clean up. I do not lie folks!

Plus look how pretty… ohhh ahhh.

This Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 10 piece set includes an 8″ Skillet, 10″ Skillet, 1.5-Quart Saucepan with Lid, 3.0-Quart Saucepan with Lid, 3.5-Quart Sauté with Lid, and 8.0-Quart Stockpot with Lid.

Yep, and I’ve used ALL already. Not one pan goes untouched. The smaller quart sauce pan is great for making homemade sauces  or paleo toffee! Praise GOD it does not burn the bottom when it caramelizes.

I know what you’re thinking. Mini’s are adorable, aren’t they? Okay that might not be what you’re thinking, but let’s still all agree sometimes Holiday kitchen essentials (appliances) come in smaller sizes. Right?

This Artisan® Mini 3.5-Quart Stand Mixer is so perfect for smaller batches. Smaller as is a batch of frosting. Or say 5 dozen cookies, marshmallows, or macaroons! It’s light, powerful, and the perfect size for entertaining at home. Can I say one more thing? It’s small 3.5 bowl fits perfectly in my arms for hogging the leftover batter.

Oh gosh. As if I haven’t talked about slow cookers enough already. They are my LIFE SAVERS! You know this as I just posted my slow cooker white bean mashed potatoes recipes on Friday. What I love about this KitchenAid® 6-Quart Slow Cooker  is that it’s, for one, super light! But also, it has 4 temperature settings. 4!! Not two, 4! Which is perfect for making all different kinds of meals. Soups, slow cooker meatballs, appetizers, hot drinks, or even snacks (stay tuned on Friday for holiday slow cooker snack recipe). It has capacity for family-size meals or entertaining. Plus, um… I am now obsessed with its  24-hour programming. See… Holiday Kitchen ESSENTIAL!

KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Espresso Maker

Don’t hate me, but I’m an espresso snob. I blame my college days working at Starbucks. Or the fact that my father-in-law had an amazing espresso maker on his coffee farm (in Kona). Geeze, I sound high strung. But hear me out. An espresso machine is LIFE GOAL for your kitchen. I promise! Especially during the holidays. Think if of it as the “centerpiece” for conversation.

“Want some espresso with that pie.?” “How about a paleo espresso muffin for the road.” See, life is better with espresso. And the KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Espresso Maker with Dual Independent Boilers will complete your life. Haha! You know what I mean.

It’s SUPER easy to use. You can even steam milk and brew your espresso at the same time. The steam wand acts as a hot-water dispenser for Americano, tea (ohh Dirty CHAI), hot cocoa, and more. You know what that means, right? Flat whites are going to be the new obsession around your coffee table.

There’s only one small dilemma here folks. You will have friends and family stop by ALL the time for espresso. Hey, the more the merrier, right? Yes!

I’ve never seen a blender look so pretty. Which is why I leave it out on my kitchen counter all the time. It matches! But more importantly, it’s to be used daily. For seasonal coconut milk drinks, pancakes, smoothies, soups, and more. This is one mighty kitchen essential blender ya’ll! Blends ice quickly and efficiently with asymmetric stainless steel blades.

Oh yea! And speaking of ice….

It’s been unseasonably warm in Texas. Which makes it hard to enjoy all those fun hot cocktail drinks. So instead, the husband (aka the Kiwi Cotter) decided we’d make our frozen grape sangria and keep things cool but festive!

Best decision ever! It was so fun and easy to make. I really should share that recipe soon, yes?
