Description

Make this gluten-free cinnamon sugar dessert pizza with a store-bought crust mix and simple ingredients for a sweet treat full of cinnamon sugar flavor!

Ingredients

Units Scale

Pizza Dough

  • Gluten Free pizza dough mix (for 10-12 inch pizza) - For Delallo pizza, following the directions on the package to make one 9-12 inch pizza (see notes)

For Brushing

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tablespoon melted butter or refined coconut oil

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup oat flour or gluten free flour
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar or sugar substitute (see notes)
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons softened butter or refined coconut oil
  • Optional: pinch kosher salt

Glaze

  • 1 cup confectioners sugar, sifted (sift after measuring)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons plain yogurt or non dairy yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough according to package/recipe directions. For Delallo pizza, follow the directions on the package to make one 9-12 inch pizza (see notes for storing leftover dough).

Notes

Substitute Tips – If you use a sugar substitute, such as a monk fruit sugar substitute, note that the taste and level of sweetness will vary.

Storage Tips – Store the remaining dough (each remaining dough ball) in an olive oil coated ziplock plastic bag (sealed tight without air to prevent it from drying out) or wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and placed in a plastic bag. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Allow room for the dough to expand as it will continue to rise. Small air bubbles will start to form, which is called cold fermentation. Before using, let the dough come to room temperature for 15 -20 minutes, this softens it enough to stretch.
