Ginger Lime Tamari Baked Fish (Sablefish)

- two 5 ounce sablefish fillets
- 1/4 cup gluten free tamari sauce
- 2–3 tbsp lime juice, to taste
- Neutral oil of choice. Sesame works too if you want more of an Asian inspired flare
- 1 tbsp honey
- black pepper and sea salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- Optional- pinch of red chili pepper flakes seasoning
- Note: if you don’t have tamari you can use gluten free soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Place sablefish on a foiled lined pan or in an oiled baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the gluten free tamari sauce, lime juice, oil, honey, black pepper and sea salt (about 1/4 tsp each), and ginger. Mix to combine. Brush the marinade mix over the sablefish fillets. Let the fish marinade for 5 minutes while the oven preheats.
- Once the oven is preheated, place the sablefish in the oven for 10-15 minutes. 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Remove from oven and let the fish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
