- 3 cups blueberries
- 1 lb (4 to 5 cups) strawberries, sliced or diced
- 1 cup diced summer fruit – melon, kiwi, raspberries, etc.
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup, raw sugar or raw honey
- 1 Tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons lime zest, if desired
- pinch sea salt
- 1 Tablespoon finely chopped mint leaves
- Optional add-ins or toppings – poppyseeds, candied nuts, etc.
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the strawberries and berries. Place in a large bowl with melon (or other summer fruit) and toss to combine.
- In another small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, lime juice, optional lime zest, and a pinch of sea salt. Pour over fruit and toss gently to combine. Sprinkle the mint on top along with optional add-ins and gently toss again.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. Best served right away or next day.
