Description
A healthy skillet pork chops meal made with fresh orange, molasses, onion, marmalade, and seasoning. Just mix and marinate the pork chops for a sweet and tangy flavor. Naturally gluten free, dairy free, and paleo friendly.

Marinade
- 1/4 – 1/3 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup light olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Pork Chops
- 1/2 – 2/3 cup chopped onion
- 3–4 bone-in pork chops
- Optional Garnish: fresh rosemary, orange slices, balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the marinade ingredients. Place pork chops in the bowl with the marinade and combine. Allow pork chops to marinate in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chopped onions and saute 2-3 minutes. Add the marinated pork chops to the skillet along with remaining marinade.
- Cook on medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes then flip and cook another 4-5 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Continue to spoon the marinade over the pork chops while they cook.
- Remove pork chops from heat, and serve with extra marinade on top. If desired, garnish pork chops with orange slices, fresh rosemary, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes
Substitutes – Boneless pork chops, chicken or fish can be substituted for the bone-in pork chops. Adjust the cooking times as needed.
Storage Tips – Freeze recipe for up to 4 months.
