- 1 cup pineapple chunks or 1/2 cup 100% pineapple juice
- 2 Tablespoon raw honey or pure maple syrup
- 2 to 4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar, adjust to taste
- 2 fresh mint leaves, chopped, plus extra to garnish
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric, adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger, optional
- 1 to 2 Tablespoons lime juice
- 6 to 12 ounces sparkling water, to taste
- Optional: crushed ice and/or sliced lime to garnish
Instructions
- If using diced pineapple, place all the ingredients (minus the sparkling water, ice, and sliced lime) in a blender or if using pineapple juice, whisk all the ingredients (minus the sparkling water, ice, and sliced lime). Blend or whisk until combined. This creates the concentrated/base of the drink. Taste and adjust as needed (see notes).
- Pour the concentrated mixture into an airtight bottle and store in the fridge for up to 6 weeks.
- Once ready to drink, simply add sparkling water (start with 6 ounces then adjust to taste) and optional ice. Lime and mint to garnish.
Notes
Prep Tips – For extra spice, add more cayenne. For more zest or tang, add additional apple cider vinegar, mint, and lime.
