INGREDIENTS: Almond flour, dates, flaxseed, cinnamon, baking soda, kosher salt, egg, vanilla extract, almond butter, maple syrup

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside, Add dates to the bowl of a food processor and pulse a few times to chop dates.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, flax meal, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another mixing bowl mix together the egg, maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla.

Working in 2 batches, gently combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. The batter will be thick like a cookie batter. Fold in the chopped dates.

Transfer the batter to the lined pan and evenly spread the batter. Place in a preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
