Some days I wish I could go live in a tree hut and eat roots and berries. No computers, cell phones, crazy modern day life. Just be a hippie in the bush.

Hi Lindsay,
isn’t it funny how Mondays hit us the hardest? For me disconnecting on a Monday is a sure way to make me disconnect for the whole week.
social media explained, haha! too funny, and sadly true.
Love your top reasons to disconnect this weekend! (except the virus! UGH!) sounds like a fruitful weekend and sometimes, it is SO needed. I am looking forward to doing the same, for the most part, in wine country!

Reason #11 It’s MON-day and I get to do whatever I want!
Abby’s “conserve awesomeness” remings me of “Don’t just do something, sit there!”
LOL! I need to remember that one.
p.s.
I’ve totally had that rib thing happen to me. It was when i was swimming a lot. WEIRD!
Does driving for 5 hours count? Because that’s what I am about to do.
I’m on vacation for the summer. Neener, neener. 😉
neener neener! remind me to say that to you when school starts and I’m traveling to the bahamas again. bwwahahahahahaha
I disconnected yesterday—race day means absolutely no techology for at least 8 hours! 🙂 I have to connect today because of work though…unfortunate. Happy healthy bites baking! 🙂
orrrr you’re disconnecting to LIVE, embracing PRESENCE over plugged-in-ness (yes, that’s a word!). Live it, girlfriend!
I think I’ve been too disconnected until recently. I need to find a good balance so that I don’t feel terrible when I disappear for a little while or when I’m “too focused”.

Man I’d love to disconnect today. Could definitely have used an extra day off!
Booo to the virus on your laptop! I disconnected for the past two days because I was traveling. It was glorious. And I felt a tad guilty for pressing “mark all as read” in my google reader, but I got over it pretty quickly haha
about half of those are true for me today including the sardines over the weekend…. not much excitement there haha. Have a great day doing other things!
I wish I could disconnect… at least from my work computer. 🙂 Sorry about the virus. I hope your computer gets well soon!
Ugh. I wish I could disconnect on this beautiful Monday, but alas, work calls 😉 If only my job would let me conserve awesomeness, I would be a happy camper!
ditto.
