We’ve been pretty lucky this past month. I mean, last year at this time we were hitting over 100F each day. This year, the highs have been around 94F. That’s a cool front if you live in Texas.
Well that luck came to a BIG HAULT today. 101F is the high, and tomorrow, and the rest of the week doesn’t look so good either.
But I think we’ll survive. 
I don’t know about you, but when it’s hot, like real hot, I crave soda or some kinda of carbonated crap filled drink. Ya, not good! Luckily Izze sent me a few of their new samples to try out so my craving was fixed with a Healthier and all NATURAL carbonated beverage.

I love fresh lemonade! i’m in Florida and i think our highest has been in the mid-high 90s… but with 100% humidity it feels more brutal than that! (and major frizz to prove it!)
humidity is brutal.. but at least our skin is nice, right? haha
My favorite summer time drink is Sun-brewed tea! It hasn’t gotten very hot here yet, luckily. I had to endure a 100 degree day when visiting my sister, though.

I forgot to mention, I don’t think I could ever live out there with the high temps but I always forget it’s not humid out there! I think it’s been around 97 here so far but with the wonderful humidity it usually feels a lot hotter.
oh yes, the humidity, it’s a curse. But at least it’s good for our skin, right? haha
I’ve seen Izze before at so many places but never tried it. They certainly have some delicious sounding flavor options 🙂 My favorite summer time drink has to be blueberry lemonade 🙂
My favorite drink maybe the sparkling blackberry Izze, but I don’t buy them as often as I should. In Maine, we have probably reached a high of 92. That doesn’t really compare to the rest of the US!

My favorite summer drink has to be a grapefruit Izze! I love the tang and can feel good about drinking it every once in a while because it has half the calories of normal soda. In MD, we got up to 105!

Been reading for awhile but it’s my first post. I love Izze!! My favorite summer drinks are sweet tea & a real treat is Starbucks passion tea lemonade lightly sweetened–yum!! As far as the heat, my car read 106 a few weeks ago. It was awful hot but not too far from normal in Hotlanta!!

My favorite summer drink is an unsweetened ice tea. Although I have been indulging in way too many Starbucks Iced Skinny Vanilla Lattes (with Soy) lately! Bad habit, but tastes so good!

Our tiny little city has gotten up to 98 this summer which is blastedly hot for our usual climate. My friend in Tucson laughs at my wimpyness. 😉

Oooh, I love Izze (Izzes?)… awesome giveaway. I didn’t realize they had new flavors. Yes, just a few hours south/east of you, so we’re getting pretty similar weather. So much better than last year’s crazy heat wave right after we moved here!

Yesterday was 98 F in So Cal, but I went a little closer to the beach and it was 89 ish. Still hot.

It doesn’t get terribly hot up here – I think 95 is the highest we’ve seen – but the HUMIDITY kills me. Ugh. I’m sure you can relate though.
Have you tried the sodastream yet? I swear by that thing. Most of the time I’m lazy and use their (crap-laden) mixes, but I also love making up my own flavors with baking extracts and liquid stevia drops. I’ve made some….interesting ones. Ginger root beer was my favorite so far.
My favorite summer drink is….well, I should say water, and I do drink more water than anything, but really? Diet 7-Up. Nothing satisfies on a hot day like diet 7-up on ice. Throw some whiskey in there too, while you’re at it. 😉
oh man, i love diet up or fresca. kinda why i don’t buy it. Too good! couldn’t get into the soda stream stuff. I think i make bad fizz. haha.

Oh those Izze drinks sound so good! It’s been super hot and humid here too, which has left me craving soda but I’m pregnant so I’m being really picky about what I’ll drink/eat so I haven’t given in yet, Izze sounds like the perfect solution!

I actually wouldn’t mind a bit of summer! It rather feels like autumn over here. But of course if it’s really hot and you can’t do anything about that it’s not fun either. But we could split temperatures! That would be the best solution for both of us! 😀 😀

I love anything Lemon! I am huge fan of Izze and would love to try the Lemon flavor! A great alternative to soda.
I LOVE Izze! I even got my husband to take a break from his beloved mountain dew for it! My favorite flavor is definitely black cherry but the grapefruit is good too. Stay cool!

OMG I love Izze drinks! I don’t really drink soda anymore but when I want something carbonated I love them :-). My favorite summer drink lately has been water I know it’s lame but it’s been sooo HOT LOL! But for alcoholic drinks the mojito is my fav summer drink. YUMMY! It has gotten so hot in the DC Metro area. I live in Alexandria, VA & pretty close to DC & OMG it has been crazy HOT & HUMID!! Many prayers have went out about the heat LOL 🙂

I would love to try Izze. I live in South Alabama, it gets hot and humid here. I think 95 has been the high, feels like 105 with the humidity! We drink a lot of sweet tea down here. I have been sticking to lemon water. Im trying to cut out the sugar! Oh and I follow Izze on twitter!

I LOVE IZZE! I always feel a little scandalous drinking from their glass bottles in the car. I’m happy to like them on FB and twitter! I have been working pretty hard to kick my coca-cola habit this year. It has been great to find things like Izze to help curb my sweet and fizzy tooth. I received a soda stream last Christmas and making my own fizzies has been a fun adventure. I’m thinking about seeing what happens when I mix fizzy water with a Nuun. 🙂 (My other go to sweet treat.)
It has been crazy hot in DC this summer. We have had numerous 100+ days but yesterday was AWESOME. It was in the mid 60’s in the am and drenching rain. It was a super fun 8 miler.
I’ve been thinking about you guys down in Texas as we suffer through a heat wave…temps of 100 are not as common here so they hurt! Do you get used to it in time or is 100 just always uncomfortably hot??

My favorite summer drink is definitely all the summer wheat beer haha! I’m in the Philadelphia area and it hasn’t been terrible here – we go through cycles where it’ll be in the high 90’s (and like 80% humidity, ugh) for 3-4 days, then we’ll have a huge thunderstorm that clears it all up and it’ll be in the low 80s for a few days…then creep back up and start all over again!
i wish they made a good GF beer like that. I miss it!

My favorite summer drink is water! Usually with fruit/citrus/veggie slice of some kind in it for flavor.
We finally hit 100 degrees here a couple weeks ago. First time in years! But since then it’s been pretty nice in the 80’s.
i’d kill for 80’s these days. haha
I haven’t had an Izze drink in a while but I remember enjoying it the last time. I don’t drink soda/pop or anything like that so I guess my go-to summer drink is water :/ but I do enjoy lemonade when I do get a chance to drink it! As far as temps, we have been in a drought here in Buffalo (along with much of the country) and temps have been unseasonably warm and very humid in the 80s-90s but dipped back into the 70s-low 80s the past few days-yay!
i think 70-80’s are what our fall winter is like. crazy!

I love Izze drinks! They are so good and not super sweet. My favorite summer drink is iced coffee – hands down. It’s gotten pretty hot here in NYC – above 100 and I think that we just had heatwave #5 or something? I know that doesn’t compare to Austin but I am a heat wimp!
