Okay so it is rainy here (non stop), but it isn’t Thursday, it’s Friday. But I like to think I’m in between time zones, or at least my brain is.
And because it’s raining, our plans to the local vineyard will have to wait. No worries, I don’t like soggy grapes anyway.
And because it’s raining I’m catching up on computer work (while browsing pinterest of course. I found this too, hehe)
Yes, she is as cool and gorgeous as she looks.
And because its raining I am enjoying my new kiddy tea and LOVE GROWN cookies with extra topping today. Thanks Lou for the yummy vanilla coconut butter).
Did I say Love Grown Cookies? Yes I did. As a LOVE GROWN BLOGGER I have entered into a friendly holiday cookie contest using our favorite granola of course. These are my Kiwi Christmas Cookies, and yes they have vegemite in them. They may be ugly, but they are GOOD! Recipe to come.
And because it’s raining I decided to kick my butt in the gym with some strength. I needed it….bad.
Rainy Day Strength
Warm up on row machine for 800-1000m
- 20 stability ball pushups
- 50 weighted squats
- 50 side lunges (25 each leg)
- 15 incline pushups
- 50 side planks hip raises (25 each side)
- 50 side crunches with straight leg (25 each side)
- 10 pushups (wide)
- 50 plié squats with weights
- 10 walking pushups
- 20 pull ups (assisted or on low bar)
- 50 v-up crunches
- 20 pull ups
- 50 hamstring curls on stability ball
- 20 lower leg stability ball pass thru
- 50 tricep dips on bench
- 20 pullups
Cool down bike 5 minutes
This took me 35-40 minutes. If it’s extra rainy, I dare you to do it 2x!
And because it’s raining, I’m going to skype my dog. I miss this face!
