First off, happy Monday! I worked all weekend so today is a little less crazy. WOO! Second, I think my NO WORRYING paid off this weekend. The husband’s knee held up well at Rev3 and he placed top 10! A good sign for this season! That’s him on the right in front. Thanks REV3 for the photo!
I wish I could have been there but I had to stay here and work on Healthy Bites. Plus we’re on a tight budget. You know how that goes?
Anyway, a few weeks ago I shared some information by gut health supplements so today I wanted to share more info on my multi-V and adrenal health supplements. You know, the ones that make me Marvelous! haha, jk. But they do help.
“This B vitamin-rich formula offers advanced support for the liver, energy, immune system, adrenals and mood balance.”
So there you have it. My current mood and multi supplements. Just talking about them make me feel healthier and happier.
My coffee/tea date with Nicole last week. I just love our meet ups!
Do you take care of your adrenals? What about a multi-Vitamin…prefer gummies like me?
This post is sponsored by VitaFusion through FitFluential. All opinions expressed are my own. *Note: the max B-ND is not part of Vitafusion.
Cheers to Marvelous Monday! I’m off to the airport to pick up the kiwi. Proud sherpa wife!

Conrats to your husband first of all! I hope the season will continue so well! 😀
Regarding supplements, I’m still reluctant to supplement much as some vitamins and minerals are unhealthy when overdosed. The supplements I take regularly are B12, vitamin D (still lack of sunshine over here 🙁 ), vitamin K, and calcium. I’ve been thinking about getting a multivitamin preparate, but I’m unsure about things such as vitamin A. Probably it would make feel me better though … Gah.
Oh i am sorry to hear! I wish i could help. Have you seen a specialist?
I go back and forth about taking vitamins. I feel like they aren’t great since the form they are in are not absorbed by our bodies well but then again I still take them religiously while pregnant or breastfeeding just as a backup to my healthy eating.
I agree! that’s kinda how i see, a back up plan. Right now, i need extra’s so it’s good back up ,ya know?
No gummies for me, and you know why! lol… I take Life Extension multis and other vitamins – just choke em down… I totally feel the difference when I do and don’t take vitamins! Seriously 😀
oh i bet those are good! And yes, you definitely need them. hehe
My husband just bought some of those gummy vitamins and they do taste good! I’ve been using the petite multivitamins by One a Day because I like the smaller size, but they’re not all that small. Thx for the tip about caffeine and absorption!
hehe, i like the petite too! Glad your husband is a gummy lover like me!
Umm… can I please have your chin dimple? So gorgeous!! <3
xo.
haha, you are too kind! thx
Oooo, I bet these taste waaaay better than the kinda’-sour & mostly-chalky ones I took as a kid.
oh yes, way better! You gotta get on those prenatals!
Mmm…might have to check out those gummies! Something that tastes good and is good for you, sign me up! Glad you got lots accomplished this past weekend and were able to remain worry free. 🙂 Go girl!
ya, way too good! that’s the only problem. LOL!
My boys love gummies. I’m not a big fan. I might have to look into that not so great tasting Max B-NT though. Sounds like it would be good for me. 🙂 Love ya friend!
oh girl, yes! get that adrenal support. YOu need it!
I have never heard of adrenal support vitamins! I’ll have to look into it!
you should totally look into it, especially with teaching fitness!
love Nicole, so awesome that you got to meet up with her!!
xoxo
we’ve met up a few times. So wish we all lived closer!
Glad to hear your husband did well!! Yay! None of my supplements are “gummies”–that sounds fun. 🙂
I am a gummy type of gal myself, I just bought the same big ole jar at Sam’s!!
oh heck ya! Sam’s is the best! or costco!
James was in Williamsburg?! So jealous. I grew up vacationing there! What a fun race 🙂
And I don’t mind taking pills, but I still sneak my kids’ gummy vitamins sometimes. I switch them between the Alive gummies and the Vita-Critters. Both are so good, it’s like dessert after breakfast. And the adrenal support sounds intriguing. Fatigue (CHECK), mood problems (check), poor immune system (still healing…once I figured out the gluten link). I may need to check it out!
we all should have gone to williamsburg!
Congrats to the kiwi! That’s great!
I used to take chewy vitamins, now I am taking Athletic Greens… not big on taking pills either so I try to get nutrients from food. Fingers crossed I am! Lol
i think you’re probably spot on!
I am terrible about taking multis… but I was trying the gummies recently as well, and found that I don’t forget them! Thanks for sharing the adrenal support, also. It’s one of the topics I touch on in health coaching, as something to rule out in individuals with extreme fatigue… and so often goes undiagnosed. I’m glad you caught yours!
yes, we always neglect that area! I think it’s so important and getting more prevalent!
Love those gummies!
Should I send you an email for a July bites order? Or are you doing a blog sign up? I forget what you said 🙂
Oh yes…that brand of multivitamins is the best! I prefer chewing my vitamins too. Right now I’m taking the calcium in that brand. They’re so tasty too…almost like gummy candies!
ohh i need to get the calcium! More treats.. i mean vitamins. haha
Those are the vitamins I take (when I remember) and now I feel so legit! I am such a wanna-be I bet I start taking them more now. LOL.
I never thought about adrenal health until today and I started top get a little self-diagnosticy so I’m-a let the no worries vibe continue and just move along. LOL.
ohhh, yes. Look into it. For sure!
My hubby and I take those exact gummy vites! We are big time gummy-anything fans so this way we are getting the vitamins we need as well as a yummy snack 😉 I also take a probiotic (when I remember) but no other vitamin at this time. I’d like to do more research on vitamins though… Ps I didn’t know drinking caffeine can interfere with how vitamins work!
yes, there are certain vitamins that will not be absorbed with caffeine. Like Vitamin C and calcium. And there are some that are best to take on an empty stomach instead. But for a multi, i say lunch is best!
Hooray!! Congrats to him!!!
thanks Heather! p.s. HOw’s the little one?
ahhh the adrenals! I was taking something, but backed off to do a round of herbs that I am finishing today…hoping to report amazing results soon, ha!
oh yes! keep me posted. I’ve tried herbs too.
LOVE GUMMY Vitamins – but I usually want to eat more than one!
CONGRATS HUBBY!!! Great performance!
Woohoo! Go James!!! So glad things worked out this weekend. I hope you two have an amazing week! xoxo
We use the the Vitafusion gummies for our kids, they love them! The MaxB sounds potent and effective, I will have to try!
i think you need adrenal support as a marathon mama. Check it out!
Gummy Vitamins are the way to go, but I stick to my one daily. Otherwise I think I could honestly snack on gummy chews, lol. LOAD up on the vitamins.
haha, same! p.s. Miss you!
I have Vitafusion gummies every day! I love the gummies because they taste delicious and don’t make me feel nauseous like plain ‘ole multivitamins. These are the only ones I’ve had which don’t make me feel sick!
glad you like these! we’re gummy buddies. hehe
i am such a sucker for gummy vitamins. they’re like candy! and woo hoo JC!
i know. But like candy. So win-win, right?
can you buy it locally?
yes, at people’s pharmacy. Or you can buy it on amazon!
People’s it is at lunch! I am desperate!
keep me posted!!!
i take gummy vitamins too as i hate taking pills! congrats to JC for placing top 10 – he is rocking it this season!
he sure does! now it’s your turn to shine!
Yep, big time adrenal supplementer here. I was taking straight Rhodiola, but I just started taking a new one. I can’t remember the brand, but it is a full on adrenal support (I think that is even what it is called) with rhodiola and few other things. It’s similar to the Max-D you take. I just started it today, so we’ll see if it is any different from the other.
I used to be into multivitamins, but I think I get plenty of everything from my diet, so I stopped. I do miss those gummies though. I bought a 5 pound bag of gummy butterflies though, so I think I’m covered. 😉
you should make a mutli-V cookie. With all the vegetables in your garden. You think i’m lying but i’m not. haha
p.s.
You’d love the MaxB
I love me some Max B! I have had great results with it as well; worth the money!
totally thought of YOU! p.s. How are things? Update me.
YAY Mr. Cotter!
I need to check that stuff out, I was going to ask you how you and the hubby keep adrenal fatigue at bay
I’m so glad you posted this with a supplement for Adrenal Fatigue! I’ve been hearing a lot about it and feeling like I have several of the symptoms but not in an overly dangerous way. I’ve been thinking about looking into a supplement that might help me with mood, energy and focus and this sounds like it might do the trick! Thanks Lindsey!
i think so many suffer from this but don’t know it! definitely check it out!
yay congrats to the hubs! I love gummy vits! I used to eat them at my friends house and I used to eat like 10, to make up for not having any until she told me it could really make me sick!
haha, it’s hard to restrain. Your friend is right!
One time, when I was nine or ten, my friend and I ate, like, half a jar of gummy vitamins. Bad idea. But, today I (try to) restrict myself to two, and I love them! It’s the only vitamin that doesn’t make me nauseous!
oh my gosh, yes, not good at all. Talk about a back fire! LOL!
So so happy for James!! I was very excited to see you update and to hear that he placed well AND that his knee felt OK. That IS marvelous (and you are too). xox
yes! that was a HUGE answer to prayer. PHEW!
YAY! Congrats to him! So awesome he did so well!!!! YAY!!
Love the gummie vitamins, I have been taking the vitafusion for 2 years now, regular ones but now obviously prenatal ones I take! I take the prenatal fiber and calcium ones too! I love them!
Happy Monday and thanks for your sweet comment, you made my day! <3
i saw your prenatal vitamins! they looked so good. haha,i wanted them. I know, i’m not pregnant.
p.s. You do look great! I am serious!
Congrats to husband! I may need to try that adrenal fatigue stuff . . . . currently taking a ZMA which has b6 and is helping me recover and sleep (maybe) . . . .

you should check out the max b! I think it’s crucial for endurance athletes.
Congrats to your Husband!!!
That’s amazing!! Sounds like things are back on the up for you all again!
I need to check out that adrenal support, I probably don’t take the best care of mine…I’m not too sure actually haha.
I do know that gummy vitamins are always a win though!
yes, gummies are a definite win! so are adrenals. Totally look into lisa. keep me posted.
PS: Glad the no worry stuff helped!!!!
So need to check out your adrenal supplement – very interesting! I am curious about the gunny vitamins!
LOVE THAT PIC!!!
you’d love the gummies and the adrenal support really helps! xxoo
Congratulations to your husband – awesome job!! Glad the knee held up and that you were able to make it through worry free!!
yes, i agree! the knee was our biggest worry or not worry.. haha.
Congrats on the top 10!!!
I like my multi. It’s called Juice Plus. It’s actually the dehydrated fruits and veggies so it’s a really pure way to get the nutrients. Mamma got me hooked on it.
haha, no way! we have those too! my parents sell it. We sold it for a while but then james got a nutrition sponsor so it conflicted.
I could eat the whole bottle, that’s my only problem #sweettooth 😉 Congrats to the hubby!
bahaha, yes. But at least you’d be getting very well nourished!
congrats to your hubs! such a rockstar!
i think he is too!
Ahhh love that you got to meet up with her! I would love to meet her one day. So fun. I do take multivitamins and extra D. It’d definitely be more palatable to chew them 😉
i know! we all need a road trip or something. I say that a lot, don’t i? 😉
OH
my adrenals DO need more love…
don’t we all. 😉
Mmm I LOVE gummy vitamins! And Flinstone vitamins – I wonder if they still taste the same?
I take rhodiola during times of stress for adrenal support, along with extra C since our adrenals use it within a couple hrs.
oh my gosh, i remember those! i think they taste the same. But i think my tastes have changed.
Woo Hoo! Congratulations to your hubby on finishing in the top 10! #badass!!
hehe, i think so too!
