Cheers to Thursday! I’m hoping most of you have off tomorrow, or at least have an easy day. It is GOOD FRIDAY ya know?
Just a few things on my mind and a few things I’d like to share. Definitely not uber important (did I just say UBER?), but I feel like rambling.
Let’s make this a “LIKE IT or NOT?” post.. shall we?
First, a few things we’ve picked up the store lately
The sprouted corn tortillas are better for digestion. Do I like them? Mmm, not bad. Do they fall apart? yes! Solution: Toast them in microwave oven and you got yourself a great little corn tostada.
Now, about this guacamole/hummus. The hubs is obsessed with it. I just think it tastes like guacamole. I’d rather make my own guacamole and save the $, but at least I was ADVENTUROUS and gave it a whirl. haha.
Tried any of these products before? Like it or not?
Next…. yes…. the hubs randomly decided to sell or old phones in order to get the new Samsung Android. Do I know how to work it? NO! But the main reason I LIKE IT is because of INSTAGRAM!!!
I feel like a “cool” kid now. Okay not cool but maybe “cooler?”

Just did this workout this morning- and I absolutely loved it.. My friend and I were sweaty messes! I hadn’t done pistols in months and I completely forgot how intense they are- Thanks so much for sharing!!

Those Healthy Bites look delish!! I’m totally posting the “Good Food Ain’t Cheap”! I am also taking it a bit easier with my workouts right now. It’s good to take a break from crazy every once and awhile, huh?
A little trick with the Ezekial tortillas, I heat up a small skillet and warm both sides of the tortilla until it’s pretty warm then put it on a small plate and put another plate upside down on top. This makes them much more pliable and super yummy : )

I don’t like the corn tortillas. I tried toasting them, microwaving them, making enchiladas with them… I think it’s just that I don’t like corn tortillas in general.

haha, they are kind dry. I wish they made warm gooey gf flour tortillas…. DREAMIN

This may be a dumb question but is that hummus made just w/ avocado? If not, does hummus not bother your tum? It tears my up so just asking 🙂
it’s half avocado an half hummus. Hummus without preservatives is okay with me. But i can only have about 1 tbsp at a time. That being said, totally better making my own. haha.
I make my own guac/hummus dip think…. I call it Hummamole though!

This workout looks intense but fun. I’m going to try it for my next workout! One question though, what’s a pendulum swing? I’ve never done those before and can’t seem to find a decent idea via the Internet or by searching your blog. Thanks for the help!!

Ahhh that makes so much more sense now! I can’t wait to try it in the morning. I did a run through of all the exercises tonight and I was sweating really good after just 1 round, I can’t imagine what 3 will feel like!

Single leg squats are HARD. We did them at run training the other day and I almost fell on my face.
I’ve been wanting to master a pistol squat, but I need this tinge in my upper leg to go away first, grrr.

I liked the workout until I saw the “repeat three times” part. Ouch is right. Still, I am going to try this out once the gargantuan breakfast I just ate digests a bit.

Yes to the tortillas but I’ll take my guac and hummus separately. I think guac-hummus tastes good…but I just want them to be separated, lol. I can’t handle it! 🙂
