I am reminded..
Reminded that we are HYPER connected and therefore HYPER aware of the good and the bad that surround us.
I am reminded..
Reminded that there is a God, a God who cares, who comforts, who heals.
I am reminded..
Reminded to pray, now and forever. Pray in good times and in bad. Pray.
I reminded that we need to mourn with others just as much as we need to love on others. Heavy hearts need extra lifting and extra strength.
<3
Taking time today to do just that.

With you sister… connected, aware, finding comfort, praying, remembering…
love YOU!
it is one hundred percent nailed for me in the notion of PRAY WHEN IT IS HARDEST TO PRAY…
xo

Love that quote.
Prayers and seek Him…it’s the only way.
Hugs to you sweet friend <3
Amen.
Love. I really love the quote.. pray hardest when it is hardest to pray!
Amen.
Also, that “Whom Shall I Fear” song has become my latest fav. Such powerful lyrics!
I wholeheartedly agree. I just love you Mrs. Cotter!
Beautiful reminders in the midst of such heartbreak.

Well said.
Beautiful post. 🙂
well said! love this reminder!!
Amen. Couldn’t agree more with your thoughts!
Same here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Feeling the heavy weight of loss right now. We all lost something in this.
Beautiful; amen. My heart has been aching these past few days, but I think it’s important to let it do that. The loss of any life is a tragedy, but when the majority of those are young children? Gah. I can’t deal.
so true. it’s absolutely critical at this time to acknowledge the lost souls but also to emphasize the good and loving people that are still here. it’s a part of the human condition and we all experience loss at some point in our lives but it’s how we move forward that sets us apart.
amen to that. Moving forward is part of the healing. Still acknowledging, still dealing, still praying.
Thanks for this post Lindsay.
Love this. Amen.
Lovely post, Lindsay. Praying over here with heavy hearts.
amen sister. Sometimes when things are going good it’s easy to forget
Great post girl. Amen.
Amen sister. I feel like a piece of me died in the tragedy. I feel like they are ALL of our kids. I am overwhelmed with grief but will never stop praying.
Love coming here for your voice of reason. Also, I love that song!
My sister reminded me of this (I believe from Beth Moore):
If _________; then God. Meaning if the worst thing happens God is still God. In pain, in sadness, in anything. He has overcome death for us, leaving believers comfort, hope, and peace.
When we don’t have the words in prayer, He hears or hearts. That is true comfort to me.
Our*
Amen! He has overcome!
Couldn’t agree more.
Yes. Yes to all of this.
