Well just call me Corny Cotter, my title rhymes and is very bloggerish. Ha, I guess 4 years of blogging has that effect on you.
Anyway, happy Friday and post 4th of July! This is when I wish I wasn’t self employed. Work must go on. But as soon as I am done teaching and making a few more rounds of healthy bites to ship, I’m UNDOING.—> That’s a big OLD FAT PROMISE.
These napkins are a perfect fit for my UNDOING time too, yes?
Now about those foods, reviews, and all things NEW. I’ve got a few new finds that are worth sharing. Maybe you have tried them. Here goes.
Whole Foods Find: Sriracha Veggie chips! I feel like these could be dangerously addicting. Made from Pea, Potato, and other veggies. I am sucker for the chips that go on sale and are strategically placed at the end of the isle. Oh and does anyone else crack up when they put “REAL!” on the packaging? I hope they are real as opposed to plastic veggies made into chips.
Best Price Nutrition Online Finds: I was sent these Garden of Life sample packs of the RAW MEAL and RAW Protein from Best Price Nutrition Online. Have you checked out that site yet? I was pleasantly surprised at the deals they had and the variety of nutrition products.
I used the Vanilla Chai in a shake. It tastes similar to plain brown rice protein and has a similar texture, which I like. Some people do not, so just warning you. The flavor was more mellow than real Chai obviously, but it did have a hint of the spice. I also like that they use sprouted vegan protein blend in both. Easy on the stomach. I used the raw meal in a batch of Custom Vegan Healthy Bites. Dang, they turned out great!
Gluten Free Vegan Peanut Butter & Jelly with Salted pretzel bites.
New PUMP up your Coffee Find: Ripped Vanilla Creamer. I was unsure what to think of when I first saw the creamer online. But then I received a free sample bag of the Vanilla from the lovely crew over at Ripped Creamer and my thinking turned around. All natural, gluten free, whey protein, vitamin D, 5 grams protein per serving. We’ve been adding it to our decaf coffee in the afternoon for a little extra protein with our coffee fix. It dissolves well and there isn’t a funky after taste. I want to try it in a coffee smoothie next.
New VEGA SPORT find: This is their new sugar-free ENERGIZER drink mix. It’s made with stevia and has other ENERGY supplements in there like ginseng, yerba mate, coconut seed, green tea extract, etc. Also contains potassium and sodium for electrolyte balance and about 5 calories per pack. To me, it tastes like those iced green tea drinks. I used about ⅔ of the packet because the whole packet is a little too sweet for my small bottle, but still tasty. My husband used the whole packet in a larger bottle. Just a matter of taste preference I think. What I liked about the energizer is that it’s made for shorter workouts, 30-60 minutes, which is what I do more of anyway.
And last but not least…..
So.. Tried any of these? Do share your thoughts if so.
Any other new finds?
Cheers to a LOOOOONG weekend!
