I’m going to make this quick because honestly I wasn’t planning on posting today. Nope, not really. But when I started editing these pictures, my mind began to turn. It began to sweat, breathe, and escape all other train of thought.
It was my fitness for the brain. yes, we all need it. A way to let the mind unwind yet work at the same time.
New Zealand Life has been the best fitness for my mind. Embracing slow walks and nature has allowed my mind to breathe, to take in scenery, to just be.
This past weekend we the hubs went for a long run at the McLean’s Island Trails. Families were our biking, hiking, and just enjoying precious time together, etc. And as I ventured out on the trails by myself, I allowed my mind to take in the color, to absorb all the smell for fresh, and to be silent.
Guess what happened?
I came back feeling stronger and thinking more clearly.
Sometimes we just need to walk and see. Not run and do.
Have you let your mind breathe lately?
I highly recommend it.
please note, i have yet to re-read this so any grammar error will have to do. I’m breathing here.
