Double Chocolate Cherry Chia Bites {Vegan}


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein of choice (see notes below for alternative)
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chia seed
  • 1/3 cup dried cherries or cranberries
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips (I used enjoy life chocolate vegan chips)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp I also use a little cherry/raspberry extract (optional)
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions

  1. This recipe is super easy because you don’t need to grind anything! just mix up dry ingredients first, then add in nut butter, extract, and honey.
  2. Mix well, then roll into balls/bites.
  3. Freeze right away then store in fridge or freezer to maintain freshness.
  4. Makes around 28 bites, give or take.
  5. NOTE –>if batter is too dry, add more pb/honey. If it’s too wet, add in coconut flour or protein powder.

Notes

If you don’t want to use chocolate protein, you can use a chocolate peanut flour. You can use another flour but it might not be as chocolatey in taste.
