You know its Wednesday when all you actually care about how pretty your food looks! haha. Okay okay, so it is kinda fun to take pictures of meals now. I actually enjoy the whole lighting, set up, etc. WHO AM I?? Oh that’s right, I am my Father’s Daughter and he is obsessed with photography as well. Except, he takes pictures of beautiful scenery while I just go straight for the food and flowers.
What I Worked Wednesday
-
Jog to a small hill around your gym or house. Hill should take about 1 minute to run up.
-
Do 2 hill repeats forward (jog down), 2 backwards (jog down), 2 side shuffling up (jog down), 2 walking lunges (jog down), and 2 side to side skips- think about leaping onto each foot here.
-
Jog back to a flat surface, gym, or home.
-
Go through this circuit 5x.
-
5 reverse lunge kick on each leg
-
10 side to side burpees
-
10 pull-ups or if you don’t have a pull up bar do 10 dips
- DONE AND DONE!

Wow, I just read about Jill Costello & my heart hurts for her & her family. I was so touched by her story- I'm still in shock at how young she died & that she never even smoked a day in her life. Wow. That is all I can say…My thoughts & prayers are with everyone that knew her. Even though I know it's almost been over a year since she passed away, I'm sure that they still struggle every single day. I'm SO glad that Melissa S. won that watch! I think she deserves it & thank you for sharing her comment.

Sweet potato slices can do no wrong! I use some chipotle rub on them for a kick or add a little siracha sauce in the ketchup!

Deer sausage?? never heard of that, although I have had deer meat before. Lori's boyfriend, well now fiance used to go deer hunting. It is pretty good. You workout sounds so intense!! Hills get me every time.

Ohmygoodness your dinner looks AMAZING! What I ate today that was worth mentioning was a salad – mixed greens, shredded rotisserie chicken, craisins, sliced apples and gorgonzola cheese with raspberry vinaigrette. And workout? 5 mile training run done in 50:59!

we mainly eat primal, except for breakfast. But thats because we do more endurance work. Oat bran is a little better to digest than oats. I think YOu'll like it. Ooh, Trilogy is my favorite! And I love the workout. I did a hill workout yesterday, and it just happened to be the windiest day ever, with the headwind on the uphill, so it felt doubly hard. But so good when I finished!

I am doing it for 30 days to see if it improves my digestion. After that, I will go from there and see if I need to make changes or stick to it. But, I was wondering what works for you in terms of your diet and food? I know you eat grains and you still can "go", right? I've heard that oats are a food that bind in the intestines, so they can be hard to eliminate. I know all bodies are different, but I am trying to get a grip on all of this so that I can do some trial and error after the month of May and my paleo adventure.
Yum, I haven't heard of that fish before! May need to try it…hard to find? I love the brunch idea too. I always find a good breakfast like that so satisfying. Will have to try it!
