This morning I woke up feeling a bit overwhelmed. Like I was missing out on something. I am seeing/hearing about A LOT right now. It’s all good stuff! I’m seeing friends/family really start to live out their passions in the new year. Training for races, pursuing new careers, and taking advantage of the opportunities coming their way. Whoa! That’s cool, and it makes me excited for them. But for some reason, I felt behind. Am I missing out on something? Maybe I need to get going on this whole LIVING out MY passion ASAP! Yes?
All of sudden I closed my computer and sat there. I asked God to take away that feeling and replace it with His Peace.
So I got up and started preparing meals/snacks for the hubs’ BIG DAY of Training.
I immediately felt at ease, I had my AH-HA moment……
I realized that you can’t rush a passion. You can only live it out day by day, nurturing it.
This was my passion. I am LIVING it. I am NURTURING it.
I Shall not Rush it into something it’s not.
Fast Forward to now…..
Warm up-row machine 10 minutes easy
- 20 seconds as fast and as you can with proper form/10 seconds rest. Repeat each exercise 4x.
- Single leg squats (each leg)
- plié squats with weights
- jump lunges
- bike- heavy resistance climbing
- leg press (medium to heavy weight) — watch your form here.
Cool down row machine 5-10 minutes
Nurture + Passion + Living in the Now= Creating Yourself
That seems to be a good LIFE Equation to me.
