A is for age: close to 30 … that’s all I’ll say.
B is for breakfast today: GF Cornflakes, fruit, and half a protein shake.
C is for currently craving: SUSHI! I need it bad. I’ve been deprived lately.
D is for dinner tonight: Well, lots of options. We have leftover roasted chicken which I made last night. Could throw that on GF pizza crust or Kelly’s GF Gingersnap Pineapple Meatloaf. Ya, she made it for ME!!! Aren’t I lucky?! Thanks Kell.
E is for favorite type of exercise: Anything really, preferably outdoors. Running, cycling, hiking, and all things strength, oh and YOGA. So I really don’t have a favorite, I like them all. haha.
F is for an irrational fear: hmm… I’d say getting sick again from a parasite. Oh wait, that’s not really irrational, is it?
G is for gross food: I’ve eaten many weird things, and texture doesn’t gross me out. I’ve had snail, frog legs, squid, fish eggs, all kinds of weird food in Africa, etc. So gross food… maybe some really stinky cheese? Although I’d still try it. haha.
These are a favorite. Canned mussels! No joke.
H is for hometown: Dallas, TX
I is for something important: Being a SUPPORT system for my husband and his career.
J is for current favorite jam: Like marmalade? haha, jk. I’m a huge Jimmy Buffet fan.
K is for kids: Oh some day, hopefully. Maybe in a few years we’ll have little kiwi’s running around.
L is for current location: Kitchen island on the good ol’ laptop.
M is for the most recent way you spent money: It’s always about food here. Quality Food is fuel for the Hubs. Good fuel = good training= good racing=PAYDAY! Oh and I might have spent more $$ on ingredients for making more Healthy Bites, yea!
N is for something you need: Quiet time with God. Yes, every morning. It’s what gets my day going.
O is for occupation: Uh, a little bit of everything. Small Business owner (healthy bites), Nutrition Manager, Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and SHERPA!
P is for pet peeve: When the baggers at the grocery store stuff everything in one bag and squish my precious food. That’s why I try to always do self checkout. Yep, I’m that girl with 20 plus items in self check out. My husband is embarrassed. I don’t blame him.
Q is for a quote: My Nana used to always say that “the joy of the Lord is my Strength.” I l always remember that.
R is for random fact about you: I have a giant mole on my hairline, above my forehead. It’s covered by hair. By sister in law calls it my horn. I like to think of myself as a UNICORN. Come on, you gotta laugh at that.
S is for favorite healthy snack: Shakes. I will blend anything and everything.
Unhealthy Snack– On road trips, I must buy a sprite and salt and vinegar potato chips. It’s our tradition!
T is for favorite treat: Wine… and cheese…preferably goat cheese or aged cheddar.
U is for something that makes you unique: the fact that I don’t have a big sweet tooth and I am probably the only food blogger who doesn’t like FROYO that much.
Oh and I am the dork who will read this.
V is for favorite vegetable: Any all, but I do love asparagus… GRILLED!
W is for today’s workout: About to go for a 3 mile hike with a client. PERFECTO!
X is for X-rays you’ve had: Um, teeth, broken arm, broken elbow, my stomach, and I am sure lots more to come.
Y is for yesterday’s highlight: WOWZER of a Yoga class. Good for the mind. Ya know?
Z is for your time zone- well, I’ve been all over the past few months. Currently we are Central Time Zone, but ask me again in a few weeks. You never know with us Cotters.
