We all have a signature dish we make, don’t we? Or at least we like to pretend we do. Here are a few home cooked and healthy “signature dishes” recipes that leave you feeling INSPIRED in the kitchen! Not to mention hungry!

Hey, it’s good for the cooking ego, ya know? For instance, my Curried pad thai recipe from Wednesday is definitely a signature dish that I get asked to make in some form or another, as well as my pop chip meatloaf. Two very different recipes, both all about flavor combos!
Well, today I thought I’d round up a few of my fellow blog friend’s signature dishes with a “REAL FOOD” focus. You know these recipes are legit. They have been tested by many, requested by many, and savored by many.
Today’s signature dishes are all Dinner and/or Lunch meals. I want to include another round up with breakfast, snacks, and desserts in the next coming weeks. Sound good? If you have any, feel free to email me!
Let’s get started, shall we?
First off, I posted this recipe on Sizzlefish Blog yesterday. But I’ve made it three times already and have had a few others make it and LOVE it. So I’m going to say it’s their signature dish, haha. For now at least. I’ll go ahead and post the recipe here. But check out the salted cinnamon salmon here as well!

Danielle @ I Eat Therefore I Run
So many to choose from! Without a doubt, my signature breakfast dish is two fruit cut up, coconut cream and a Nutter Bomb, a delicious ball made of nuts, nut butter, coconut oil, and other fatty goodness. A great fat kick in the morning! I’m going to email it to you, along with my breakfast quiche.
Right now, I’m loving Bolognaise sauce with added kale, and carrots roasted in coconut oil, salt and pepper. I had it for dinner tonight!
Meghan@CleanEatsFastFeets
I’m pretty much a fan of anything with a real food focus. It’s kind of my thing. I love it.
My signature dish the Hubby always clamors for is Veggie Stir Fry. It’s simple, filling, nutritious, and quite frankly delicious. Can’t beat it. http://cleaneatsfastfeets.com/2014/10/10/simple-vegetable-stir-fry/ My other signature dish or at least the most popular on Clean Eats, Fast Feets is my Broccoli Cheddar Quiche. It makes me happy. http://cleaneatsfastfeets.com/2013/02/26/broccoli-cheddar-quiche/
Michelle @ Vitamin Sunshine
Yum. I think my minestrone is one of the most requested dishes I make!
I just ordered Sizzlefish and shipped it to my mom– I can’t order it myself right now! She is loving it. Can’t wait to try when I’m home in December.
LCCotter
when will you be home in December? email if you want more sizzlefish!
Jess
Yum! Thanks for sharing!
Chuck
Pop Chip meatloaf?! I am so trying this immediately!
LCCotter
it’s UNREAL. You gotta try it chuck!
Arman @ thebigmansworld
Hmmmm…I think my curried tuna patties but then again- I only really cook it for myself. Tough question, Cotter!
LCCotter
ya but a lot of people have made your dishes and probably have a favorite. I’ve gotta try your curried tuna patties next!
Jody - Fit at 56
My signature dish is cookies – bought! 🙂
LCCotter
and i will eat your dish every day if it means sharing with you! hehe
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
But… but… where’s dessert?! 😛
I don’t so much have a signature dish because I’m not sure I’m much of a cook… more a baker. I can haphazardly throw things together and call them meals, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you what I did or what’s in them 😯
LCCotter
I’m doing more posts like this so I can include dessert! You better leave me one of your signature baking dishes! Please?
Kim
Some great “real foods!” I just pinned almost all of them (I think I already had 1 or 2 because I follow their blogs).
LCCotter
oh that’s awesome! now we just need a taste test of each
Marisa @ Uproot from Oregon
I love the idea of combining salmon with pasta – this combo is incredible! I need to get on to the hummus wagon with topping fish. And greek yogurt!
LCCotter
i’m a hummus addict, so i am a bit bias. haha
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious
I love everything I make, but this Butternut Squash salad is my all time favorite lately.

Tara Newman
I love your creativity. I am too fearful about messing something up and wasting food or then being hungry! Oh, but John has been working on this Tofu Fried Cauliflower Rice dish which is excellent. We should post the recipe but we aren’t recipe bloggers. Terrible with the food pictures 🙂
LCCotter
post it! i want to see it and make!
Shashi @ runninsrilankan
I don’t think I’ve ever had sweet salmon before – lady, you come up with some pretty dang eye popping, mouth watering, fish recipes! Happy Happy Friday!
Cara's Healthy Cravings
It’s hard to choose!! I would probably say a spicy peanut noodle/rice dish with tons of veg. I lean towards anything with an Asian flair.
Kierston
I love the cinnamon and maple on the salmon! I will try that next time 🙂
Tiffany @ The Chi-Athlete
Oh everything looks so delicious! It has been cool and gloomy up here since Monday, and that potato soup looks like it would hit the *comfort* spot!
Hope y’all are doing well! <3 you, friend!
LCCotter
I hope today brings sunshine! we are hanging in there, thanks for asking. How are you?
Erin @ The Almond Eater
Mmmm yum! My signature dish would probably be…. actually I have no idea. Any moment that I do cook for real I try to develop something new for the blog haha but I think for a time it was stir fry and/or breaded chicken.
LCCotter

Linz @ Itz Linz

Jen
a recipe with cinnamon coconut butter?! yes, please! I just made a batch of TOASTED cinnamon coconut butter this past weekend – I could eat it by the spoonful. Before my gf/df days, my sig dish was definitely pancakes or chicken parm. But these days, it might be sweet potato soup or jambalaya!
LCCotter
ohhh jambalaya! love it!
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
You are crazy creative with recipes! I love salmon and new ways of having it are always welcome. Great roundup.
LCCotter

Oooh yum! I did think your salmon recipe looked good, now we have it too! YAY! My signature dishes are my salmon, spinach, and broccoli risotto (http://tinamuir.com/salmon-spinach-and-broccoli-risotto/) and my butternut squash lasagna…..which 2.0 is coming this monday!
LCCotter
i think i first “met” you when you posted that risotto. haha
SuzLyfe (@suzlyfe)
I would say my signature dish would be either my cheddar jalapeno cornbread muffins or my Turkey Cranberry Pumpkin Enchiladas that I made for Thanksgiving last year. I was going to send it over to you, but the pictures are old so it doesn’t show well. Still, though, it is a fantastic recipe! http://suzlyfe.com/2013/12/turkey-cranberry-and-pumpkin-enchiladas/
LCCotter
ahh pictures are over rated! i want to try these for sure!
Renee @ Bendiful Blog
Oh Yummm these recipes look fantastic. I’m in a a rut with food, I need some variety. And now that you have me addicted to your salmon I need to try these other dishes 🙂
