People often look at our lives and call us nuts. Why’s that?
We are nomads. We are moving once again.
We are pursuing our passions/dreams, hoping one or all will come to fruition.
We are living paycheck to paycheck.
We are thirty years old have yet to make plans for kids, even though we want them. No 5 year plan, no 2 car garage, no nest egg.
We sweat for a living (triathlete and fitness instructor). Do this workout, it’s especially Sweaty and NUTTY!
We like to drink our greens and blend up other crazy concoctions. This one is Arugula, Chocolate Stevia, Almond Milk, protein, Banana, and Coconut Kefir.
We work too much at times (okay a lot of times) and play too hard at times.
We have faith.
People think I’m nuts for wanting to be a future SAHM (stay at home mom). For not wanting to be the “bread winner.” For wanting to be a SHERPA wife and supporting my husband’s career.
I know I am nuts, we know we’re nuts. But to us, we wouldn’t have it any other way. When chasing a dream, you need a purpose, and our purpose is to BE nuts over life with EACH other (the ups and the downs).
Maybe that’s why we adore NUTTZO. Over the past years, Nuttzo has FUELED James and his triathlon career. He’s been a NUTTZO athlete and proud of it too. Yes, it’s an amazing product, but their story is where we are inspired the most.
A few words of Danielle (the founder) and why she started Nuttzo.
Fitness and nutrition have always been an integral part of my life. After adopting two boys from the Ukraine who were vitamin deficient, I became even more focused on preparing creative, flavorful, super-nutritious foods. NuttZo is an Omega-3 powerhouse of nutrition blended into a delectable butter. I’m honored to share it with you and your family.
Adoption was a life changing event for my husband and me. After meeting so many of the beautiful orphaned children while adopting our two sons, we founded Project Left Behind, a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on providing education and living essential to orphans. I am so pleased to announce that NuttZo is a proud supporter of Project Left Behind.
You see, this company has our heart and WE’RE NUTTZO over it. For the love they share, for the non profit focus, for their PURPOSE, and well.. for their DELICIOUS and REAL INGREDIENT product.
No added sugars, 100% organic, Healthy Omegas, Peanut Free option, created with a mother’s love.
Disclaimer: Although this is a product review, the opinions are ALL my OWN and you better believe they’re TRUE!
This February (the LOVE month), we’re getting even more NUTZ and sharing the LOVE of HEALTH with NUTTZO. I’m planning on creating a few different NUTTZO recipes and heck, maybe I’ll even come up with a NUTTZO healthy bites flavor. Whatcha think?
Are you NUTS like us? Have you tried NUTTZO? Do you support products with a purpose? I hope the answers here are all YES!
Cheers,
LC

Okay I have seen so many pictures about this brand! Is it really that awesome? Do they even sell this in Jersey??? I love how you are nuts; how I am nuts; and how we admit it. I’d say we are Amazingly Nutty in a awesome way. That’s a mouthful. XO
i meant to send you home with some! argh! not sure if they sell it there. Check whole foods! and you are nutty, love IT!
Love that work out idea!! Totally doing it!
I have always wanted to try Nuttzo but its so dang expensive
one day maybe!!
girl, i owe you a lot of goodoes! Hot Oats, Nuttzo, healthy bites, etc. Just come visit!
girl i would LOVE to come visit! i don’t even need the goodies. ok, not gonna lie, i would take some healthy bites
Ahhh I always see Nuttzo at the store and wanna buy one! Then I go nuts b/c it’s too expensive for me~hhaaha. And you guys are so crazy, but I love it! I wouldn’t mind going everywhere around the world since I always had a passion and desire to be on the mission field anyway, but now that I have a baby in the belly I wouldn’t WANT to not have a baby now!
Ohhh and I have Jesus Calling, it’s pretty awesome. I refer back to it every now and then when I feel led to a certain passage.
i love that God has your right where he WANTS you. Nurturing your lives with a baby on the way! that’s amazing and I can’t wait for your even more NUTTY life to begin.
I think your life sounds amazing and like so much fun! I just bought my first jar of Nuttzo last week and am obsessed!
oh another obsession has begun! a good one. and thank YOU for your support Em.
I like this. I am just as nuts as you! I moved to China to live with my boyfriend. Now we are moving to Malaysia. We are not married (yet). I am trainer and health coach. I look forward to my future job as SAHM.
We are nuts only by what other people define as “normal”. Sometimes normal is nice and safe and that is ok. But for crazy people like us… stability and material things are not important. People, experience, and adventure are important!
Enjoy the ride
i love following your nutty adventure on instagram too! keep it up friend!
I think you’re just great! And so is the review–sounds like a perfect fit for you!
you mean we’re just as nutz, right? hehe
Love you guys – I think the life you have together is perfect for YOU…. you rock it! You guys have love, passion, health and happiness – you’d be NUTS to want anything else
this is true. and thank YOU for always believing in us. We love LOU and soon we need to reunite. I know i say this a lot, but I MISS YA!
Nuttzo PF = my ALL TIME favorite nut butter. By far. It’s the best!
i agree. ANd the seeds in your teeth are so worth it!
Wait! You’re moving? Where? When?
I don’t think you’re nuts at all. It takes a lot of guts to pursue your dreams and follow your heart. My husband is miserable in his job and wants to do something different but is tied to the money. I’ve told him to quit, we’ll move to a smaller house, live frugally, but he just can’t…he’s the practical one, I’m the dreamer, in case you hadn’t guessed! And of course with 2 kids it does make things a bit difficult. I say keep living your dream! Where are you moving to?
i think he should go for it! we’ll be cheering from the NUTTZO field!
You are both NUTSO in a very good way!
coming from you, that makes me happy!
You know I’m nuts!! I want to try the peanut free one so bad! I NEED to look for it. I can always get behind a brand that has a purpose and stands for something! You are moving????
what did I miss??
where are you going?!
Y’all are absolutely ADORABLE and a wee bit nuts
I’ve been totally MIA recently but have to say that I loveee your new layout, it’s fab!
P.S. You’re moving? To DC?
girl we are so much alike in our life right now, well besides I am single LOL
but living everyday the best I can, and trying not to stress about money (although it is getting tough) but staying positive about the future.
and the workout sounds great, but what is a bicycle sprint? Is that actually getting on a bike? haha
I love this! You two are precious and completely NUTZ – but that’s what makes you so special
I have recently been called “nutz” for deciding to compete in a show… people think I am 100% loco, but it’s a dream – it’s my dream. I am so content and excited about it – that must be a good thing, right?
and you are 100% passionate about it too! GO NUTZ! I believe in YOU!
love LOVE that pic of you and the hubs–you guys are adorable. besides the stay-at-home-mom part (hoping DAD will do that:)) this sounds remarkably similar to our lives! literally making my first-ever deposit in a retirement acct here now at 34!:) CHEERS to taking risks and living the dream!
Hillary, i so wish we lived closer. I want to hug you!
This post is truly beautiful! I was smiling from ear to ear reading it and seeing the pictures.
I think you have the best life right now! You guys are doing what is right for you and it is fabulous and inspiring.
best is often hard, but worth it in the end, yes? How are YOU?!
