It’s okay… WIAW

by LCCotter on October 10, 2012

This morning was brutal. Now, normally we are up at 4:45 but being at the airport (which is 30-40 minutes away) by 4:30am is a whole new story.

But it’s okay. It’s okay because I got back to the house by 5:15am and brew an extra STRONG CUP of COFFEE. Make that two.

It’s okay that I was craving a simple breakfast. Coconut yogurt, GF raisin toast with butter, and eggs. The stomach wants what it wants, yes? Heck, I’ve had leftover salmon and quinoa for breakfast before. I just go with it, the craving that is.

It’s okay that my workout was quick. Quick and effective. Exactly what I needed.

It’s okay that I have yet to wash my hair in almost a week. I’m embracing the dry shampoo and beach hair look.

it’s okay that I consider these rolls a good shovel tool. A shovel for Nuttzo and banana that is. Yep, it’s grain free goodness.

Side note: We are not paleo/vegan/etc. But we do eat glutenfree and focus on REAL ingredients. Maybe we are Qualiteo? Or Qualitegans?

It’s okay that I loaded our tostado’s with extra extra daiya cheese. What can I say, it just melts so well!

It’s okay that I ate part of an order of Healthy Bites and now have to make more. Gah, I hate it when I am one bite short. But so worth  it!

It’s okay that I’m going to get in bed early tonight. It’s the perfect time to catch up on some much needed reading. My Jesus Calling Devotional.

It’s okay that I haven’t responded to emails, posted product reviews, done the dishes, washed the laundry, or put out the trash. It’s also okay that I have canceled by eye appointment 5 times!

Why? Because it’s just one of those weeks. And instead of trying to be physically strong, I’m focusing on being mentally strong. That means letting go of extra “weight”  on my mind.

Thanks Jen for being OKAY with me jumping back in this week. Winking smile

what are you OKAY with this week?

Cheers,

LC

P.S.

I’ve got some Healthy Bite news coming up, very soon in fact. New flavor structure, new button, etc. And perhaps a giveaway. Are you OKAY with that? I am! stay tuned.

I loveee your sexy beach waves!! Go with it!! I wish my hair looked that great without washing. I am impressed you only eat one healthy bite when you make them, I would struggle getting orders out because I fear I would eat them all!

It’s absolutely okay to leave everything behind for a couple of days, or else we become enslaved by the life we’ve been doing everything to improve.

It’s all ok :) I miss rocking the beach hair everyday! Alas, in an office environment it doesn’t go over all that well! It was so wonderful not to blow dry for over three weeks and not worry about when to wash it… such simple freedoms LOL

My big decision now is whether I should wait for the giveaway winner to be announced or order more bites right now!! Everytime I see your delicious looking photos my mouth waters!
